Why start psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a valuable investment in mental and emotional well-being. Many people seek therapy to get support in dealing with difficult life circumstances, stress, anxiety, depression, or conflicts in their relationships. But psychotherapy can also be a path to personal development and growth, even when there is no acute crisis.

No matter where you are in life, psychotherapy can help you build self-esteem, improve communication skills, and learn how to set healthy boundaries in relationships. It can also be a way to work through old traumas, release difficult emotions, and learn to deal with challenges more constructively.

It's not just those who feel "broken" who will benefit from psychotherapy. It's for anyone who wants to understand themselves better, build more meaningful relationships, and live a more authentic life. By working with a psychotherapist, you can create a deeper connection to yourself and others, which can lead to a sense of a more intentional and meaningful life.

You no longer have to carry everything alone. I strive to create a space where you feel the support and presence necessary to create change and find greater clarity.

Are you ready to take the first step towards living a life that feels meaningful and balanced?

Existential psychotherapy

Experiential psychotherapy

Existential psychotherapy is based on the basic conditions we all live with as humans: freedom, responsibility, choice, relationships, meaning – and the fact that life does not last forever.

In existential therapy, we don't just work with symptoms or problems, but with the way you are in the world. How you relate to yourself, to other people, and to the choices and opportunities that life holds.

Many of us experience periods where we feel stuck, alienated from ourselves, or unsure of our direction in life. Existential therapy creates a space where we can explore the questions that lie beneath the surface:

What is important to you?
What are you longing for?
How will you live your life?

It's not about finding one right way to live – but about becoming more aware of your choices, your values and your ability to create a life that feels more honest, meaningful and authentic.

Experiential psychotherapy is based on what you are experiencing right now – your emotions, bodily sensations and inner reactions.

Many people are used to thinking up solutions, analyzing themselves, or explaining their feelings. In experiential therapy, we instead work on feeling and exploring what is happening within you as we talk.

When we make space for our experiences – even the difficult ones – a deeper understanding of our needs, patterns and longings can emerge. It can create movement in something that previously felt stuck.

In therapy, we therefore work slowly and curiously with what emerges in you:
What are you feeling right now?
What happens in the body?
What might the feeling be trying to tell you?

The experience-oriented work can help you get closer to yourself, strengthen your ability to regulate emotions and create a more authentic connection with both yourself and others.
